Guided setup

From team to channel, without rushing.

Setup checks every step before starting the bot. No Steam password is needed and credentials are never shown again.

  1. 01

    Sign in with Discord

You confirm your account and choose your Discord server and the channel where the bot can work.

  2. 02

    Prepare the Rust+ connection

Install Rust Bridge Helper from the Chrome Web Store and follow the installation guide below.

  3. 03

    Copy the connection code

The helper generates the code after the official login. Paste it into your team page and never send it in DMs.

    Rust Bridge Helper

The current Facepunch login requires the new flow. Use our helper to obtain the code to paste here.

Install from the Chrome Web Store

    1. Open the Store listing, click “Add to Chrome”, and confirm the installation.
    2. Open Rust Bridge Helper from the extensions menu and click “Sign in with Steam”. Complete the login on the official Facepunch and Steam sites.
    3. Click “Copy code” in the helper, return to Rust Bridge, paste it into the field, and click “Verify and connect Rust+”.
    4. Wait until Rust Bridge says “Listening”, then pair from the game using “Pair with server” or “Resend”.

To generate the code, use Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Brave on your computer. The website is also accessible from your phone.

The helper accesses Facepunch only. It does not read passwords or cookies and never sends the code automatically to any site.

Have the ZIP version? Remove it and install the Store version. Your team stays connected.

    Manual ZIP installation (alternative)

Download Rust Bridge Helper for PC

Extract the ZIP to a permanent folder and open chrome://extensions. Enable “Developer mode”, choose “Load unpacked”, and select the extracted folder containing manifest.json.

  4. 04

    Connect Rust+ from the game

You receive confirmation when the connection is ready. The Team page has a private map centred on the owner when their position is known; it updates every 30 seconds while visible. Preparing the terrain for the first time may take a few minutes; you can use the Rust+ map in the meantime. Prepared terrain is cached and reused for the same map; it may need preparing again after a long period without use or cache cleanup. Automatic background switches to generated terrain when zoomed in, if verified. Click a player group to choose who to view. Filters control points and no-build zones extracted from the map. On Discord use !map: original Rust+ resolution and verified extra points.
